Solo discovered the yarn

When Mugen was a puppy he liked to mess up some yarn.

Solo is a lot like his older brother.

They don't chew the yarn they just like to knot it up out of its ball and into a big pile of mess. At least I can still use the yarn. Silly pups.

Wow what happened to the last week?

Well I have finally gotten my Paws it forward packages out the door and I figured that it took me a week to do so.
Solo did make the discovery this week that merino wool yarn is fun to mess up (Pictures to come) and that the down command is to be ignored. I now remember that it took forever for Mugen to do the down command and Iwonder if it's a family thing or a Cardigan thing.

We got our lovely package today from Taryn at Tail of Two Cardis . The Squeaky Kong wubba is a total hit and they fought for it for a good 10 mins. As you can see the puppy ended up with the goods.

Finished a sweater, finally

I realized that i have been working on larger projects than normal and also I just didn't knit in May so I finally finished a project, a summer sweater! Here it is, it is my first serious lace project and I even got to take pictures of it at my local yarn store Bliss Yarns.

Solo had a good time

Solo got to hang out with other dogs at our conformation practice and I get to see what we need to learn in order to even think about the ring. Also I got to meet other people who are just starting in this like me. It's like most things, most everyone was nice and informative and only a couple of people that were strange. I am in quite a few geek circles in the area so I know these types of people. Nice but weird! I personally find them entertaining and it gives me stories to tell my husband when I get back.
Of course I always wonder if I am the weirdo in other circles, hmmm.

First conformation class

Well I am bravely going where I have not before. I am taking Solo to a conformation class. I hope he has fun and that it's okay that we are in a collar and leash. Oh well I guess if they are not nice I don't have to go back since it's free anyway from the Nashville Kennel Club, but I am guess that we will have a good time.

Puppies are good and tired today.

We spent a lovely Saturday at Laura's house so she could take a look at Mr Solo's progress. (Yes he looking more and more like his dad Lego every day!)

We also had our last puppy class so I made my husband come and take more pictures.

Solo knows how to sit!

This is Solo's "girlfriend" Lucy. He thinks she is the bees knees.

Cameron is helping train Solo too. Also it shows that Solo's sweet speckled belly is starting to be covered with Cardi belly fur, which makes me a little sad that my baby is starting to become a dog.
