First conformation class
Well I am bravely going where I have not before. I am taking Solo to a conformation class. I hope he has fun and that it's okay that we are in a collar and leash. Oh well I guess if they are not nice I don't have to go back since it's free anyway from the Nashville Kennel Club, but I am guess that we will have a good time.

Make it lots of fun for him -- you want him to sparkle in the ring (and you, too). Remember how cute he is so that you keep smiling. You'll learn the mechanics of showing a dog -- just never let it be mechanical!
ReplyDeleteHe loved it, he got to meet other doggies and licked the "judge" every time he was on the table. I now see that we have lots of table practice at home and we need to work on the "stand" command.
