Class he preferred to stay under my chair and look at the puppies and occasionally sniff and lick another puppy. Is this my dog? How can the dog who loves to gnaw on me be so shy and timid in class? Oh well I guess the Cardi is coming out. We'll see next week.

Report on Solo's 1st puppy class
Mr Solo had his first puppy class yesterday and did so well. The only really surprising thing is that he really didn't play with the other puppies. As you all have seen he really likes to wrestle with his brother Mugen and they will play until he passes out on an air vent.

Hopefully one of the goals of puppy class is to get give them the opportunity to feel comfortable in new situations! Maybe he was just having an off night.
ReplyDeleteI think he just needs time to warm up to the new puppies. All of Solo's experience is with grown-up dogs and people. I think he is like my only child Cameron. When Cameron was a toddler he did better with adults and big kids and little kids his age.
ReplyDeleteNorman liked to stand off and observe when we first got him....well he's pretty much gotten over that BIG TIME. I'm sure solo will be in the middle of things soon. Can't wait to meet the little guy!
